Hello! I just got back from a 10 day trip to Lisbon and the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. I’ll be posting about how we got there, the places we stayed, and what we did/ate. Here’s a brief overview.
First, we flew SFO – JFK in JetBlue’s Even More Space.
During our layover in JFK, we visited the Airspace lounge.
Then we flew to Lisbon in TAP Portugal’s economy cabin.
In Lisbon, we stayed in a really cute Airbnb in the historic Mouraria district.
When we got to Lisbon, the first thing we did was a food tour (my favorite thing to do in new city).
We loved exploring Lisbon — the bridge was very familiar to us š
We ended our time in Lisbon with a day trip to Sintra.
Then we boarded a Ryanair flight…
…and headed to the beautiful island of Sao Miguel, Azores.
We stayed at the Azor Hotel, in Ponta Delgada.
Then we flew SATA Airlines to Boston…
…which was delayed three hours, causing us to miss our flight to SF. So we spent the night in Boston’s Residence Inn Chelsea/Airport.
Once we made it back to SF, I was pleased to see all my souvenirs made it back intact!
Stay tuned for more details in upcoming posts!
