TL;DR: I would definitely stay here again. Convenient location, free parking, and comfortable rooms make Hotel Indigo Anaheim a great value.
Booking
I booked this hotel for four nights in June. The nightly rate was $236 for a total of $1104. (I had originally booked for five nights, but I decided to spend one night at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey. I called about a week before my checkin date and adjusted my reservation.)
For this stay, I earned 9,440 pts. But wait, there’s more…
Since I registered for IHG’s Accelerate promotion, I earned another 7,500 points.
Check In
I arrived at the hotel around 8pm.

The lobby was bright and colorful, with a lot of natural light.
To the left of the check in desk was the hotel restaurant and a small convenience store.
The check in agents were very friendly and efficient. I was given two room keys, a parking pass, and a gift bag with water, trail mix, and a hand-written note from the hotel manager welcoming me to the hotel.
There’s a handful of outdoor parking spots, which are unsecured, and a larger underground parking area, which requires a room key for entry. I chose to park underground, because Anaheim is HOT.

Room
I was assigned room 122, which was right next to the pool. I was a bit worried the location would be loud, but I ended up sleeping very well.
Upon entering, you were immediately in the bedroom area which featured two queen beds.
To the left, there was a thermostat, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. The mini-fridge was thankfully empty, so I was able store my own drinks in there. I didn’t try the coffee maker, since there’s a Starbucks across the street. Next to the mini-fridge was the desk. There were a bunch of advertisement papers under the glass, which made the area look really cluttered.
Towards the back of the room was a window, AC unit, closet, and the bathroom.
The bathroom was very spacious — tons of counter space and a large walk-in shower.
It came with Aveda toiletries.
Gym
The gym was located on the ground floor, near the pool. It was pretty well appointed for a hotel gym.
Service
Everyone at this hotel was super friendly and helpful. Whenever I entered the lobby, someone greeted me by saying “Welcome back”. When I was sitting at the pool writing blog posts on my laptop, the manager came around and offered bottled water to every person at the pool.
